The treatment space at Atlas Injury to Health, where every visit begins with a thorough upper cervical assessment

Highly recommend Atlas Inj to anyone struggling with chronic spine issues. I've lived w/c-spine DDD since 2010 & L-spine DDD w/tear since 2016. Chronic pain and limited ROM has been my norm. Since getting my atlas corrected & routine maintenance adjustments, I genuinely haven't felt this good in years. My ROM has improved dramatically, my activity level is higher and my daily pain is minimal. It truly has been life changing 🙌

The new patient visit exists to answer one question properly: what is actually causing your symptoms, and is upper cervical care the right approach for it? That takes a real conversation, a thorough examination, and — where it is clinically warranted — imaging precise enough to measure alignment rather than guess at it. You will leave knowing what we found and what we would suggest, whether or not that turns out to be care with us.

What Your First Visit Involves

  1. 1

    A conversation, before anything else

We start by listening. When symptoms began, what preceded them, what you have already tried, how they affect your work, sleep and daily life, and what you are hoping to get back to. Most patients tell us this is the longest anyone has spent on their history — it is also where most of the useful diagnostic information comes from.

  2. 2

A thorough physical and neurological examination

Our clinical team assesses posture, range of motion, muscle guarding and nerve function, looking at how your head sits relative to your shoulders and pelvis. The aim is to distinguish where you feel the symptom from where it originates — those are frequently not the same place.

  3. 3

    Advanced diagnostics, where clinically indicated

Atlas Orthogonal is a measured technique, so when imaging is appropriate we use digital X-rays to determine the precise degree and direction of upper cervical misalignment. Imaging is taken because it will change what we do, not as a matter of routine — and we will explain why before anything is taken.

  4. 4

A report of findings in plain language

We show you what we found, explain what it means, and set out what we would recommend and roughly what that would involve. If your presentation points somewhere outside our scope, we say so and refer you — that is a legitimate and useful outcome of a first visit.

Who This Is For

  • You have symptoms that testing has not explained, or that keep returning after they settle
  • You have been told to manage the pain rather than address what is producing it
  • You are wary of forceful adjustment and want to understand a technique before consenting to it
  • Your symptoms began after a car accident, a fall, a concussion, or a sports collision
  • You want to restore function and stay active, rather than treat one episode at a time
  • You are considering something more invasive and want to explore conservative options first

Neck Pain
It’s to the point where everyone I know has now been told about how much this office has helped me. I know people who have been mishandled by chiropractors offices (to an extreme extent)- but it was clear to me after the first visit and consultation that this office and their specialty is different. I have been on a steady track of improvement in just around two months of seeing Dr. St Louis. He’s consistently found every single problem spot I come in thinking I’m going to tell him about…but I never have to. He always finds the issue before I can point it out to him. His skills and talent are undeniable, and I have noticed similar with Dr. Russel. I went from “Nobody is ever gonna touch my neck” to looking forward to having a full adjustment every appointment. I leave with so much less pain, it leaves me incredulous. I’m not sure anybody could have told me before I came here that something like this was possible for me. I believed they’d help me- but I don’t think anyone would have been able to convince me it would be THIS much. I went from being unable to sit for any period of time at all to being able to endure short bursts to now I can mostly sit as long as k need to within reason. There is still much to be done with my own self discipline and posture corrections etc, but just being able to finally sleep again is incredible. The atlas adjustment is probably the coolest part for me. You can’t feel the tool actually do anything while it’s working, which is spooky and also super cool. but I have noticed a difference immediately after being re-set both times I’ve had it done now. I highly recommend this office. I’ve seen them also handle really difficult people with a lot of kindness and patience, which is amazing for any office in 2026. I watched a gentleman come in and demand he bypass the process that has been established (for a reason, right…?) and I was impressed to see how they handled him and were able to explain to him (multiple times) why the process is what it is and he eventually agreed to an appointment following the office protocol. 😅 Anyways, love this place, love the people, fantastic, thank you for giving me my quality of life back! 🥳🤩

Car Accident Injury
My wife and I found this practice to be very professional and caring. Dr. Robin and Dr Shawn are godsends right now and we are happy to have them and Atlas on our sides. A+++ in every way. Recovering from a nasty accident would be so much more difficult without this terrific practice directing the course of our recovery.

Headaches
As a full-time wedding photographer, I spend 10+ hours a day on my feet and sometimes 14 hours editing at a computer. Over time, it really took a toll on my body. A few months ago, I started getting intense headaches, my vision would go blurry, and I felt this constant pressure and pain in my neck and head. That’s when I knew it was finally time to see a chiropractor. Choosing a chiropractor can honestly be scary — you’re trusting someone with one of the most delicate and important parts of your body. I did extensive research, read countless reviews, and ultimately chose Atlas Chiropractor because they specialize in the Atlas and cervical spine. That alone already felt different from every other office I looked into. One thing I truly love is that they take actual X-rays and show you exactly what’s going on, instead of guessing. In my X-rays, you could clearly see that my spine was curved and my neck had lost its natural curve — it was completely straight. When your neck is like that, the nerves can’t send proper signals. It can cause headaches, fatigue, constipation, and overall just feeling “off.” They explained that if it goes untreated long enough, the bones can actually start to fuse. I’m so grateful I caught mine in time. I’ve been going for about a month now, and the difference is incredible. I’ve had almost no headaches, my energy is back, and (TMI maybe, but important!) my digestion is so much better. I genuinely feel like myself again. Beyond the science and the adjustments, their team is one of the most welcoming, kind, and friendly groups of people I’ve ever met. They treat you like family the moment you walk through the door. I could write a whole book about how much this place has helped me — but honestly, you should just go see for yourself. Thank you, Atlas Chiropractor, for giving me my quality of life back!

Questions Before You Schedule

What does the new patient visit include?
A one-on-one consultation with the doctor, a comprehensive physical and neurological examination, digital X-rays where clinically indicated, and a report of findings covering what we found and what we would recommend. You are not committing to a course of care by attending — the visit is the assessment that determines whether care is appropriate at all.
Do I have to commit to a plan of care?
No. The purpose of the first visit is to establish what is happening and whether we can genuinely help. If we recommend care we will explain what it involves and what it costs before you decide anything, and you are free to take that away and think about it.
I do not want my neck twisted or cracked. Is that what this is?
No. Atlas Orthogonal uses an instrument to deliver a precise, low-force correction to the topmost vertebra — no twisting, no rotation, no sudden movement. It is the reason many of our patients are people who had previously ruled out chiropractic care entirely. Techniques are always matched to the patient and to what the examination indicates.
Can I use this offer with Medicare or my insurance?
No. This new patient offer is available to new patients only, cannot be combined with insurance, and federal healthcare program beneficiaries — including Medicare and Medicaid — are not eligible, which is a federal requirement rather than a practice policy. If that applies to you, our team will explain the standard options when you get in touch, and nothing about your care changes.
What happens if you cannot help me?
We tell you, and where appropriate we refer you to someone who can. Some presentations need medical assessment, imaging or management that sits outside chiropractic scope, and some symptoms are not driven by the upper cervical spine at all. Establishing that is a useful result, not a wasted visit.
Which location will I be seen at?
Whichever you choose. We have clinics in Winter Garden and in Ocala, and you select your preferred location on the form. Our clinical team serves both, so the approach is the same at either.

Offer available to new patients only and may not be combined with insurance or other promotions. Federal healthcare program beneficiaries (including Medicare and Medicaid) are not eligible. Services are provided based on clinical necessity. Please review and adjust these terms with your compliance advisor before launch.
