About Dr. Shawn Wilkerson
Dr. Shawn Wilkerson's introduction to chiropractic care came in an unexpected place: a high school wrestling mat. Suffering from low back pain that no one could explain, he met a chiropractor who recognized that the real issue originated in his cervical spine. That single insight reshaped his entire understanding of the body — and ultimately, his career.
A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Shawn now specializes in patient-centered care that focuses on igniting the body's natural healing process through correction of the atlas. His approach integrates spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercises, and lifestyle coaching to address the root causes of dysfunction — not just the symptoms.
He believes that healing is rarely a single intervention. It's the result of consistent, intentional work between practitioner and patient, paired with daily habits that support what we accomplish in the office. Dr. Shawn is just as invested in the conversations about sleep, movement, and stress management as he is in the adjustment itself.
Outside the practice, Dr. Shawn is a husband and father of three. He enjoys family beach trips, online chess, gardening, and the occasional medical drama or documentary. He and his wife are constantly working on home-improvement projects — proof, perhaps, that he can't help but try to make things better wherever he goes.
Patient Reviews
“I have been to many chiropractors over the past years. None have given the care and experience that Dr. Shawn and Dr Robin have given. The office staff are the best. Have felt welcomed from day one.”
